Herbert William "Windy" Trageser Jr.

He was born on February 2, 1949 in Silver Spring, MD, and was the son of the late Herbert William Trageser, Sr. and Margaret Ann Ferrell Trageser.

Windy served in the US Army during Vietnam and was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He was a security guard and an electrician.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Lynn Winegard Trageser; five children, Sherry Mane and husband, Arthur, Pamela Dobson, Dennis Trageser and fiancé, Tina, Dustin Trageser and Jennifer Barnes and husband, Josh; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Peggy Gurick and husband, John; a brother, George Trageser and wife, Christine; his step-mother, Faye Trageser; numerous nieces and nephews; and his cat, Dumb Kittie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Glen and Ronald Trageser and sister, Brenda Clokey.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, May 29, 2015 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave with Rev. Clarence Moyers officiating.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
