Janet Lee Hanger Bush

Janet Lee Hanger Bush, 79, a resident of Weyers Cave passed away on December 22, 2015 at Shenandoah Nursing Home in Fishersville. She was born in Charlottesville on March 17, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Albert Reeves and Irma Catherine Corbin Hanger. Janet attended Weyers Cave High School and was employed at Echo Restaurant and later retired from IMCO Plastics (Owens-Brockway). She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren, a lifetime member of the Weyers Cave Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary where she served as President and also a member of Weyers Cave Lion’s Club. On January 22, 1954 she married William Theodore Bush, who preceded her in death on January 13, 2013. She is survived by her children, Nancy Todd and husband, Robert, of Midlothian, Va., Joseph Bush and wife, Kathy, of Swoope, Va., Steve Bush of Weyers Cave, Janice Smith of Chesterfield, Va., and Carol Bush Talley and husband, Jeff, of Churchville; her grandchildren, Tiffany Silverio of Fort Hood, Tx., Patrick Todd and wife, Cathy, of Midlothian, Va., Ryan Thompson of Richmond, and Billy Bush of Waynesboro; a step-grandson, Jesse Talley of Richmond; two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 2-4:00 PM, Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, December 28, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Wyrick officiating. Burial will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
