Lenna May (Rimel) Lambert

Lenna May Lambert, 75, of Mt. Sidney, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, October 24, 2018. She was born on May 28, 1943 in Augusta County and was the daughter of the late Russell S. and Ruth A. Rimel. Lenna May lived her entire life in the Mt. Sidney community and was a graduate of North River High School. She was a lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Evangelical Church, and a member of the Women’s group WELCA. She also participated in the Verona Tops Group. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed having picnics and get-togethers with them, she also enjoyed playing BINGO. On May 22, 1965 she married Ona F. “Chuck” Lambert who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Daryl Lambert and wife, Tonya, of Mt. Sidney, Keith Lambert and wife, Candace, of Crimora, Kendal Lambert and wife, Crystal, Randal Lambert and wife, Louesa, all of Mt. Sidney; six grandchildren, Kirsten, Tianna, Cole, Landen, Kelsey and Wyatt. She was preceded in death by a brother, James R. Rimel. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave. A funeral service will be held 11 am, Monday, October 29, 2018 at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Derek Boggs officiating. Private burial will be in the church cemetery.
