
She was born August 15, 1919 in Nappanee, IN and was the daughter of the late John Clinton and Bertha Young Bock.
Mrs. Hulvey lived nearly 60 years in Mt. Sidney, was a third grade teacher in Indiana, and was the manager of the cafeteria at Fort Defiance High School, before retiring. She was a member of Lebanon Church of the Brethren.
On December 22, 1945, she married Paul C. Hulvey, who preceded her in death on July 13, 2009.
Mrs. Hulvey is survived by two sons, James Hulvey of Mt. Sidney, John Hulvey and wife, Jennifer of Staunton, three daughters, Doris Augst and husband, George of Mt. Sidney, Carol Lasher of Swoope and Betty Poe and husband, Curtis of Staunton; five grandchildren, Justin and Erin Augst, Audrey Poe, and Joel and Kelsey Lasher; three brothers, Harold Bock of Oregon, Howard Bock of Michigan, and George Bock of Indiana.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Alice Hulvey and four brothers.
The family will receive friends 7:00-9:00 PM, Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave. The casket will be closed.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 22, at Lebanon Church of the Brethren with Pastor Joel Ballew officiating. Private burial will be in the church cemetery.
