Sharon D. Sozanski

She was born on January 10, 1948 in Easton, PA, and was the daughter of the late Russell and Hazel Thorpe Hamlin.

Sharon graduated from Phillipsburg High School in Phillipsburg, NJ and had been employed at Karen Lu Sportswear and Warren Haven Nursing Home in New Jersey for 25 years. She moved to Weyers Cave, VA, in 2010.

On September 25, 1965 she married John P. “Butch” Sozanski, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, John P. Sozanski, Jr. of Hampton, NJ; a daughter, Denise M. Sozanski of Jenkintown, PA; two grandchildren, Avery L. and Ashton V. Sozanski both of Washington, NJ; and a brother, Ron Hamlin and wife, Eileen, of Grottoes, VA.

The family will receive friends 10-11:00 AM, Friday, November 29, 2013 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave, VA.

A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
