Brittain, Clara “Mildred” – Age 88, of Weaver Settlement, passed June 10th, 2013 in Villa Acadienne, Meteghan. Mildred was born in Weaver Settlement a daughter of the late Barb and Minnie (Burns) Sabean. She was a very giving person, often going without to help someone in need. She liked to cook, often inviting people over for meals. Mildred is survived by daughters, Thelma Hill, Julia Brittain, Judy Koven, Ida Brittain, Minnie Boudreau; sons, Walter, Harry and Elijah; she will alos be missed by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband, David Russell Brittain; son, Richard; sisters, Eva, Levine, Minnie; brothers, Herman “Hub”, Roy, William, Harry, Ken and Stanley. Visitation will be today 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm in Havelock Wesleyan Church, also where the funeral service will be at 2pm, Thursday June 13th. Pastor Peter Hayes presiding.
