

Dugas, Walter Joseph – Age 88 of Weaver Settlement, passed away June 4th, 2015 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Weaver Settlement he was a son of the late Thomas and Grace (Amirault) Dugas. Walter was a self-employed truck driver working for Lewis Lumber Company for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Weymouth, and a member and director of Weymouth Credit Union for 49 years. Walter is survived by sons, Fred (Danielle Poirier, Louis (Kim Keeler), Wayne (Michelle, grandchildren, Kim, Daniel, Emma, Sarah, and Joseph also several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by wife, Edesse (Comeau) Dugas; sisters, Rosie (Wilfred) Blinn; Pauline (Camille) Comeau; brothers, William, Leonard, Phillip and Louis at 9 years old. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 Sunday June 7th from Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth North (902-245-2525) Funeral Service will be 11am, Monday June 8th from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Weymouth.
