

Jewell Bordelon Theriot, 90, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. She was born in Avoyelles Parish , the third of five children of Tillman and Corinne Deselles Bordelon. She was a homemaker who lived in White Castle for 54 years before moving to Azalea Estates, an assisted living facility in Gonzales. She is survived by her daughter , Carole Theriot Landry and husband Oneil ( O.J.), grandchildren David Oneil Landry of Moorpark, California, and his wife, Alyse DuBroc Landry, Suzanne Landry Gomez of Baton Rouge and Shannon Cody LeBlanc of Donaldsonville, and great-grandchildren,
Brooke LeBlanc Barriant of Denham Springs, Gabriella, Spenser and Lillith Gomez of Baton Rouge, Alyssa and Christi LeBlanc of Donaldsonville and Ethan and Maya Landry of Moorpark, California.
Preceded in death by her husband Edmond Paul Theriot, son Neal Steven Theriot, brothers Rodney and T. J. Bordelon and sisters, Nellie Bordelon and Lois Juneau. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in White Castle from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment at the church mausoleum. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials donations can be made to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank or the charity of your choice.
