

Sterling Cedotal, the man known as “Paw Paw”, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. He was 79 and a lifelong resident of White Castle. Pawpaw lived and breathed the cane fields. He was born with the drive to work and provide for his family. He loved all children as if they were his own children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Guillory; son, Warren “Bo” Wallace; sisters, Marian Bahry (Ed) and Betty Dupuy (O.J.); brother, Steve Cedotal (Gloria); five grandchildren, Chase Mathis, Shawna Guillory, Harleigh Guillory, Wendy Wallace Miller, and Raven Guillory; great grandchildren too numerous to count; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy Sandifer Cedotal; parents, Leonce and Beulah Gomez Cedotal; grandson, Jon Wallace; and brothers, Shelby and Herbert Cedotal. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, White Castle on Monday, August 15, 2016 from noon until 9 pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday at the funeral home from 9 am until 12:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor beginning at 1 pm. Rev. Greg Daigle officiating. Entombment to follow in the White Castle Mausoleum.
