

A native and resident of White Castle, Tammy Marie Ourso, 47, died at 2:48 pm, Sunday, January 15, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was a proud graduate of White Castle High School Class of 1982. Survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie and Sylvia Yarbrough Ourso, Mitchel and Amy Bergeron Ourso, Artie and Kristine Schexnayder Ourso, and Drena Daigle Ourso; two sisters, Darlene Ourso and Jerry and Arlene Ourso Yarbrough . Nieces, nephews, and their spouses: Jason and Addie Yarbrough Loupe, Travis and Jessica Ourso Dardenne, Donnie and Amber Hoffman Ourso, Deric and Ellie Gulotta Ourso, Robert, Mitchel II, and Martin Ourso, Sarah Ourso and fiancé Corey Giroir, Janie and Annie Ourso; special nephew and Godchild Jesse Yarbrough and spouse Michelle Lanclos. Great nephews and nieces, Peyton Rock and Amelie Dardenne, Evan Loupe, Bennett and Ann Corinne Ourso, Julia Ourso. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Gros Ourso; brother, Milton “Rocky” Ourso, Jr.; grandparents, Martin and Adeline Ourso; Emile and Bertha Richard Gros. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Visitation resumes on Wednesday, Jan. 18 from 8-10:45 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, White Castle. Interment in the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to,
