

Carlos was always full of life and laughter. No matter who he was with or if he was just meeting you for the first time he always had a joke to make you smile. He loved cars and trucks and everything about them from admiring vintage to working on his own. Carlos enjoyed working on cars, cooking, music, dancing and traveling cross country to visit his family.
Carlos was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on April 10th, 1935 and grew up there until he moved to New York City at the age of 17. He worked many jobs from factories, to owning convenience stores, a truck driver and a school bus driver before retiring.
But no job was more important to him than being a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and tio. Carlos was predeceased by his first wife Myrna. Together they raised six wonderful children. They leave behind: Cynthia and her husband Kevin of Baton Rouge, La, Carlos Jr. and his wife Ceida of Castaic, Ca, Myrna and her husband Michael of Lake Forest, Ca, John and his wife Dalen of Monroe, NJ, Hector and his wife Judy of Canadensis,PA and Barbara and her husband Mel of Brick, NJ. Carlos is also predeceased by his second wife Josephine. Carlos also helped raise three step children with his second wife Josephine: James, Melissa and Matthew. Carlos also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Carlos is also predeceased by his sister and his brother Joseph. He leaves behind his brothers Julio and Jesus, sister Julie and several nieces and nephews.
A Virtual Memorial will be held Saturday January 23rd, 2021 @ 3p.m. Eastern time
