CARMEN R. SPITALE - age 78. Retired Old Bridge Police Sergeant and Army Veteran died peacefully at his home in Whiting on Thursday, June 11th. He is predeceased by his brothers Louis and Guy. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Ethel "Joyce"; a daughter Joyce and her husband Tom, a daughter Florence and her husband Dan, and a Son Carmen, Jr. and his wife Sharon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren - Danny, Chris, Kristen, Eric, Alex, Andrew and Emily; three - step grandchildren Jim, Carrie and Michael, 5 Great Grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 14 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ 08759. Funeral Services will be the following day, Monday at 10am from the funeral home. Entombment will follow at the Maplewood Cemetery, 169 West Main Street Freehold, NJ 07728.
