Christina Caroline Klaniecki

Christina Wenzin Klaniecki, 93, of Birchwood Drive, Whiting, New Jersey, passed away at home on September 30, 2017. She was born in New York City on January 3, 1924. Christina was the daughter of German immigrants Christian Wenzin and Lena Pfitzmaier Wezin. Christina married Edward M. Klaniecki on January 5, 1947. She worked at and retired from the Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield New Jersey. Christina and Edward Worked in Fanwood, New Jersey for many years while raising their family.

Christina was a devoted wife and mother, she was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Christina was predeceased by her husband Edward, who died in 1997, her son Edward M. Klaniecki, Jr., who died in 1969; and sisters Caroline Wenzin, Augusta Edelmann, and Clara Capasella

Christina is survived by her daughter Christina Balicki and her husband Richard of Kendall Park, New Jersey; her daughter Susan Gleiberman and her husband Ira of Vero Beach, Florida; her son Stephen Klaniecki and his wife Melinda (Mims) of Forked River, New Jersey; and her son Michael Klaniecki and his wife Lisa of Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces.

Visitation will be held Monday October 2, 12-4 pm at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting.
