Geraldine E. Jones

Geri was born on April 25, 1934, in Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by her late husband of 54 years, Carl Donald Borleis of Elverson, PA, and her son, David Borleis, of Gardner, MA.

Geri is survived by her beloved husband, Herbert W. Jones, with whom she celebrated their first wedding anniversary on August 18, 2013. Also surviving are her children; Daniel Borleis, Deborah Breitkreuz, Diane Hubler, Dawn McGurn, Donald Borleis, their spouses and children, two brothers; Henry and Thomas, and their spouses. Geri was grandmother to 13 dear grandchildren.

Geri attended the Whiting Bible Church and Christ Evangelical Church. She enjoyed gospel music and attending concerts. Geri poured herself into raising her children by providing them with a multitude of enriching experiences and life changing opportunities. It was her priority to have her children attend church to learn about God and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. There also were many family vacations and trips to the beach while living on the East Coast. Geri earned her RN degree as an adult and worked as an operating room nurse for several years. A recent favorite past time of hers was sailing.

Viewing hours will be held on Monday, August 26th, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM with the service to follow at Christ Evangelical Church, 300 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. Burial will be at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. Guests are invited to join the family for dinner at the church immediately following interment. The Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Whiting, NJ. is handling the arrangements.
