Gertrud Kirsch

Gertrud Kirsch, 94, passed away on Thursday May 20, 2010 at the Pines at Whiting. Gertrud emigrated from Germany in 1956 to the United States. She resided in New York and parts of New Jersey before settling in Whiting in 1978. Gertrud moved to the Pines at Whiting in 1999. She was a member of the Whiting Bible Church and the Fellowship Deaconry-Liberty Corner, NJ. She was dearly loved by everyone. Gertrud is predeceased by her husband Alfred Kirsch (2000), and son Siegfried Kirsch (1980). Gertrud is survived by her son Helgard Kirsch and his wife Marina of New Hampshire, a daughter in law Barbara Schadt of Whiting and her husband Barry, 4 grandchildren, Kurtis Kirsch of Florida, Karen Tesauro of Florida, Stefen Kirsch and his wife Marie of Lake Hopatcong, NJ, and Mark Kirsch of Mt Holly, NC. Also surviving are a great granddaughter Tiffany Tesauro and a step-great grandson Zack. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 24th at 11am from the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home – 115 Lacey Rd – Whiting. Burial will follow at Whiting Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday morning from 10-11am.
