Joan Helen Zerr

Joan S. Zerr, 85, of Whiting, NJ, beloved wife of Carl H. Zerr Jr. of 58 years passed away on Sat., Jan. 31, 2015 at Crestwood Manor. She graduated from Beaver College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. She worked for many years as an Interior Decorator. Joan was very active in the Episcopal Church in both New Jersey and Maine. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family at their summer home in Maine.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law, she is survived by her beloved husband, Carl H. Zerr, Jr.; two daughters, Linda (Arthur) and Margaret F. (Robert); a son Carl H. III (Lisandra), seven grandchildren, Alexander, Rhee, Chippie, Rosie, Katie, Nathan and Leilani; and two cousins, Richard Robinson and James Lehmann.

Visiting hours will be from 10 to 11 am with a Mass following on Sat., Feb 7, 2015 at Holy Apostles’ Episcopal Church (formerly St. James), 1040 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Yardville. A private interment will be held at a later date.
