Joyce Albertson

Born in Chester Pa, then spent most of her childhood in Cranford, NJ, Joyce moved to Pine Lake Park in Manchester, NJ, during high school and graduated from Toms River High School in 1948. She married and settled in Forked River, NJ until she retired in the mid to late 1990’s.

Joyce retired from driving a school bus for Lacey Township after 24 years and spent her time with her husband, family, and quilting.

Joyce is predeceased by her husband, Edward C. Albertson; her son, Floyd Albertson; and her brothers Richard and William Kaier. She is survived by her children, Howard W. Beyer and his wife Cynthia of Sarasota, FL, Edward J. Beyer and his wife Kathleen of Bayville, NJ, Wayne H. Beyer and his wife Kate of Barnegat, NJ and Brenda L. Albertson of Forked RIver, NJ; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 9-11am at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting. Funeral services will begin at 11am at the funeral home. Joyce will be laid to rest with her husband Edward at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ at 12:30pm.
