Michael L Roberts

Michael L. Roberts, 65, passed away at his residence on September 3, 2010. Michael was born in New Brunswick, NJ and resided in Ocean Grove, Toms River, and Barnegat before moving to Whiting 3 years ago. Michael was a craftsman, including making muzzleloaders, and a member of the NRA. He was a dental technician retiring in 1992 from Roberts Dental Lab. Michael is survived by his mother Shirley Greene of Highland Park, NJ, his wife of 22 years Margaret Roberts of Whiting, NJ, sons James Roberts of Freeville, NY, Sean Shannon of Florida, step-daughter Melissa Miller of Wilkes-Barre, PA, grandchildren Katie Roberts, Nicholas Gey, Lucas Miller, Alexa Miller, brothers-in-law Bob, Tom, Bill, Vinnie, Joe, Fran, Karl, Eddie, Larry and Tony McKenna, sisters-in-law Gloria Roemer, Carol Hughes, Pat Downes and many nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews. Michael is predeceased by a brother-in-law Jack McKenna. A visitation will be held on Tuesday September 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home – 115 Lacey Rd – Whiting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 8th at (10 am) from St Elizabeth Ann Seton – Chapel. Interment will follow at Whiting Memorial Park.
