He is survived by his five children: James (Candace) of Vineland; Ralph (Carolyn) of Philadelphia; Catharine Yee (Edward) of Lynnfield, MA; Beverly Tarquinio (Stanley) of Vineland; and Raymond of Vineland. His descendants also include eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Ralph was born in Bellefonte, PA. He grew up mostly in Danville, PA and Bristol, PA, the only son of James S. Ritter and Mildred Wintersteen. He graduated from Bristol H.S. and held degrees from The Kings College, Faith Theological Seminary, and Rowan University.
Ralph was an enthusiastic sportsman. He enjoyed many sports, but particularly baseball. When he could not play anymore, he worked as an umpire.
Working in many capacities over the years, he was happiest in the Christian ministry. Ralph served as a pastor, itinerant minister, counselor, and chaplain. He also spent many years teaching in various South Jersey school districts.
