Rolando Beauchamp, 93, of Whiting, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Whiting Healthcare. Rolando was born & raised in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He brought his family to New York City in 1948 and met his wife of 66 years, Dora, in 1958. They lived in Chelsea before moving to the Lower East Side to raise their family.
Rolando loved his rice and beans, and is now in heaven with his family & friends having their rice and beans.
Rolando is survived by his wife, Dora; his two children, Dauphine Rosario and her husband Jesus and Rolando Beauchamp, Jr.; his granddaughter, Anida Almonte; and two great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Rosario. He is also survived by his two sisters, Fannie Beauchamp Torres and Nereida Beauchamp; many nieces & nephews; and his beloved “Kitty”.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 11am-1pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ. Burial will follow at Whiting Memorial Park in Whiting, NJ.
