During this difficult time, our family wanted to support you with thoughts and prayers.  Mr. Placido was a thoughtful and kind man who cared deeply for others. My cousin, you bring back some great memories when we were growing up.  We laughed alot and cried (from the pain of our older brothers).  You always called me "Jawny", I will never forget that!  Thank you reaching out to me this past year, I will forever remember our conversations. Over the last year, when we spoke, we talked about those good times again and laughed. I'm happy I had the opportunity to get to know Steve (my neighbor).  Our conversations were wonderful.  My prayers are with his wife Marianne,  their children and grandchildren that God comfort them during this time of sorrow.  

Some people make the world better just by being in it. Some people light up a room just by walking in the door. Some people brighten our lives year after year. Steven was one of those people and will be missed. His life and love were a blessing to many.  Fond memories, Papa Joe

My condolences to your family. I have fond memories of Steve on the BOE and also at our MTEF golf outings. He was a great supporter of our schools and the youth of Manchester. And he always had a huge smile under that moustache!

I remember Steve from Scouts Troop 48 in the late 60s/early 70s. He was a good guy. I’m  so sorry for your loss!

Dear Mary Ann and family… how lucky was uncle Steve to have all of you… from the fun in the pool day to beach and boardwalk days and nights and trips to fun places… he was always such a joy to be around… and the stories of his younger days.. the van … the bakery… cheech and Chong….he will always be remembered for the joy he brought to all he was around.. he will be missed .. but not forgotten… may you all find peace that he is in gods hands… love ya Eileen
