

Mr. Pearson was born in Washington, DC and graduated from St. Alban's School in Washington.
He served in the 104th Infantry Division in Europe during WW II.
Mr Pearson was a member of the Chevy Chase Club. He was a graduate of Cornell University earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and retired in 1980 as a Service Engineer for PSE&G in Newark after 31 years of service.
He lived in Edison, Westfield and Barnegat Light before moving to Crestwood Manor in 2006. For several years in the 1980's he served as the Zoning Officer for the Borough of Barnegat Light and later was a member of Borough Planning Board. he also volunteered at Southern Ocean County Hospital transporting patients.
Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Eleanor Pearson, a son William E. Pearson and his wife Robin of Long Valley, NJ. 4 daughters: Millicent Drucquer of Cape canaveral, FL, Christine Musa of Belvidere, NJ. Cynthia Pittenger and Marilyn Washburn both of Phoenix, AZ. A step-daughter Deborah Fitzpatrick and her husband Ronald of Gloucester, NJ. 13 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.

Interment will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that any memorial donations be made to the Southern Ocean County Medical Center, Manahawkin.
