Alma Lucretia Williams, 99, of Iowa Park, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Wichita Falls. She was born on January 20, 1918 in Buffalo, NY to the late John Sandy Williams and Anna Kline Williams. Alma graduate from Columbia, PA High School in 1935 and then went on to study at The Williams Institute of Mortuary Service and the Hoyt School of Nursing. She worked at Fulton National Bank in Lancaster, PA from 1946 – 1973. In 1973 she moved to Lamesa, TX where she worked at First National Bank until 1977. After briefly moving to Kerrville, TX she returned to Lamesa in 1978 and worked for WG White Gin as a book keeper from 78 – 80, secretary and book keeper for Dawson County Senior Citizen Center from 79 – 80 and secretary for Dawson County Judge, Glenn “Bottles” White from 83 – 90. In 1997 she moved to Iowa Park.
Alma was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star #366 in Columbia, PA, Alta Shrine #38 in Lancaster, PA and the Amaranth Court #70 in Lancaster, PA.
She is survived by her son, Sandy Williams and wife Vickie of Iowa Park; grandchildren, Nikki Rowland and husband Bobby of Wichita Falls, Jami Fields and husband Jonathan of Carrollton, TX and Jessi Loey and husband Tim of Spring Branch, TX; great grandchildren, Jaycob, Autumn, Ashtyn and Maddox Rowland.
