Beth Watson

Beth Countryman Watson, known as “Nena Beth,” went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 9, 2022. Beth was born on May 9, 1941, in Cass Lake, Minnesota to Walter and Ruth Countryman. She was the eighth of nine siblings. Beth married Benjamin Franklin “Frank” Watson and had two children, Rita Jane (Watson) Brown and Benjamin Franklin “Bennie” Watson, III.

Beth was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Beth was also tough, loving, and strong-willed. She wasn’t afraid to give her opinion and would relentlessly defend her loved ones against anyone and anything. Beth also loved her dogs and would bring them with her wherever she went. She resided in Wichita Falls, Texas for most of her life.

Beth is predeceased in death by her husband, Frank, and son, Bennie. She is survived by her daughter, Rita, of Sunset, Texas; grandson, Jesse Brown, and his wife, Jordan, of El Paso, Texas; and grandson, Clayton Brown, his wife, Kailey, and their son, Jackson, of Midland, Texas, and multiple nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Crestview Cemetery on December 16, 2022, at 10:00 AM.
