Betty Jean Nash

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Crestview Memorial Park with Dr. Tom Rodgers, pastor of Grace Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Betty was born April 2, 1932 in Lexington, KY to the late Marion and Lula Robinson. She and Gobel Nash were married December 19, 1953. He preceded her in death on September 13, 2009.

She was retired from Dillard’s, and had recently been employed by Grace Church in Wichita Falls. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls.

In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters, and her great-grandson Zechariah Kern.

She is survived by her son Steve Nash and wife Janet of Brownwood, TX; daughter Donna Underwood and husband Bill of Wichita Falls; grandchildren James, Patrick, and Julia Nash of Brownwood; Amy Kern and husband Jacob of Midwest City, OK; Alicia Pond and husband Drew of Milwaukee, WI; Sam Underwood and wife Elizabeth of Spokane, WA; great-grandsons Aeden Kern of Midwest City, OK; and Calvin Pond of Milwaukee, WI; sisters Jo Ann Finnell and husband Logan of Lexington, KY, and Martha Davis of LaGrange, KY, as well as several nieces and nephews.
