He was laid to rest in the Garden of Compassion at Crestview Memorial Park on Saturday, March 8,2014.
Billy was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on January 22, 1926 to Conious and Irene (Davis) Gibbs. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the Navy. He was a typesetter for the Wichita Falls Times Record News until his retirement. Billy was a good and kind man and was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bobby and Jessie Gibbs.
He is survived by his sister, Marie Marshall of Wichita Falls and aunt and husband, Juanita and Ken Schnick of Wichita Falls and numerous nieces and nephews.
