Dena Mallonee

Dena Mallonee, age 65, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023. She was born in Henrietta, Texas to Melton and Helen Franklin on May 10, 1958. She later moved to Wichita Falls and attended Rider High School.

Dena married Ben Mallonee on August 15, 1975 in Wichita Falls, Texas, and together they had their son Brandon on February 19, 1984. Through the years she worked for United Electric and Sound Discount before doing book work for the family company, Mallonee Industrial Painting. She had a love for flowers and her dog Atticus. She also was a big in PTA while Brandon was in Elementary School. Dena was an amazing cook and loved cooking for her family during the holidays.

She is preceded in death by her parents Melton and Helen Franklin and her brother Jerry Franklin.

Survivors include her husband Ben of Wichita Falls, TX, son Brandon and girlfriend Karina of Wichita Falls, TX, brother Mike and wife Princess Franklin of Nocona, TX, sister Sandi Gilmore and husband Lynn of Lake Kickapoo, TX, special nephew Drew Franklin and girlfriend Stephanie of Iowa Park, TX, special cousin Tammy Adams and husband Tom of Graham, TX, special nieces; Anabell Franklin, Abbi Ficklin and husband Jacob, all of Wichita Falls, TX, and many more nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Udena will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4400 Cypress Ave, Wichita Falls, TX 76301. A chapel funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas 76302.
