Donald Lee Funk

Donald Lee Funk died peacefully at home with his wife by his side. He is now resting in the arms of our Lord.

Don was proud to be a veteran. He served in the Army for 21 years. He was a skilled woodworker and spent all his spare time in his work shop. He was also a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.

Born in Midland, Michigan to Ollie an Beatrice Funk, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers and a son Troy Lee Funk.

He married Lois Ann Conn on December 27, 1989.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Lois, daughter Kelly (Michael) Wojcik, son Todd (Kerstin) Funk, step daughter Teresa Reed (Doug) Barnette, step son Lee Allen (Suzie) Reed, step daughter Susan (Aron) Grassi and step son Donald Hubbell. Also 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Donald will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Lake Side City volunteer fire department.
