Donna was born on July 20, 1945 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Donal Lee and Sylvia Price Whitecotton. She married Lyndall Ritchie on April 16, 1965 in Wichita Falls and she was a teacher's aide for WFISD. She was a member of Texoma Cowboy Church and loved taking care of her grandkids, travelling and going to craft shows. She was a member of Beta Sigma Fi sorority. She was preceded in death by her father: Don Whitecotton, Sr.; and her siblings: Elizabeth Ann Whitecotton, Dennis Gene Whitecotton, and Don Whitecotton, Jr.

Survivors include her husband: Lyndall Ritchie; mother: Sylvia J. Mitchell; children: Robin Martin and husband Bill and Darren Ritchie and wife Marsha, all of Wichita Falls; grandchildren: Ryan Martin, Sara Martin, Tyler Martin, and Marley Ritchie; and twin great-grandchildren: Korbyn and Maddox Gray.
