

Francis ‘Frank’ Theroux, 73, of Wichita Falls passed away Monday, March 14, 2011. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 18, 2011 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Vincent Blake officiating. Graveside committal service will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the auspices of the United States Navy Honor Guard.
Mr. Theroux was born January 30, 1938 in Pawtuckett, RI. To Albert Theroux and Beatrice Rose (Bourjet) Theroux and they preceded him in death. Frank was married to Ethel ‘Rusty’ (Barker)Theroux for 51 years before she preceded him in death in July of 2009. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Frank retired from the U. S. Navy in 1976 as a Chief Petty Officer after 22 years of service to his country. He was serving as a Recruiting Officer at the time and went on work as a machinist in the area. He was active on the Lake Arrowhead Ranch Estates V.F.D. for many years and in his spare time, enjoyed wood crafting.
Survivors are his daughter, Tina Tipton and husband, Joey of Marlow, Ok.; son Michael William Theroux of Wichita Falls; sister, Sister Teresa Theroux; brothers, Paul Theroux and Arthur Theroux; grandchildren, Matthew Tipton, Brandon Tipton, Alyssa Tipton, Christopher Theroux and wife, Brandi Alsup, and Amber Theroux; great grandchildren, Thomas J. Theroux, Damein Theroux and Samantha Nicole Gwin. Frank and Rusty were preceded in death by their son, Thomas Jay Theroux in 1999.
