Graveside services will be at 11AM, Wednesday in the Dean Cemetery.
Glenn was born on August 30, 1937 to Albert and Helen McWhorter in Houston, Texas. He was a retired carpenter and truck driver. He married Frances Burns on March 25, 1986 in Wichita Falls. Glenn was also active in the YMCA as an umpire and was a referee for the Boys Club. He loved Rangers baseball and football. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Lois Worth, and brothers: Clarence McWhorter and Charles McWhorter.
Survivors include his wife: Frances McWhorter of Wichita Falls; 4 sons: Larry McWhorter of Wichita Falls, Jerry McWhorter and wife Laura of Wichita Falls, Flint McWhorter and wife Brenda of Wichita Falls, and Bobby Glenn McWhorter and Elizabeth of Arkansas; brothers: Ervin McWhorter of Wichita Falls, Peter McWhorter of Wichita Falls, and David McWhorter of Archer City; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
