Howard H Hill

Howard was born March 4, 1944 in Wichita Falls Tx. He married Sharon Vaughan November 1. 1963 and they had five children. He was a resident of Holliday for 40 years before moving to Lake Kickapoo after retirement. Howard was a Roofer for over 40 years and then a Truck driver until his retirement.

Howard was an enthusiast of Indian ancient artifacts like arrowheads and spear points and was keen on recognizing stone carvings and pottery. In his early years this was one of his favorite pastimes.

Howard loved family gatherings where he could visit and enjoy watching all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon, mom and dad Billie and Alvin Burge and a grandson Ryan Hill.

He is survived by his five children, Steve and wife Karen, daughter Missy, Son John and wife Kim, Son Darren, Son Russell and wife Katie. A brother Jeff and wife Debra. Thirteen grandchildren and Twenty great grandchildren.

A visitation for Howard will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302. A graveside service will occur Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Holliday Cemetery, 611 E Olive St, Holliday, TX 76366.
