

James Bursey, 48, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010 in Bryan, TX. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Brown, Rose Hill Church of Christ, Lawton, OK, officiating. Graveside Services will follow at the Crestview Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
James was born in Johnson City, TN on May 17, 1961 to Thomas and Margaret (Donaldson) Bursey. He graduated from Hirshi High School in 1979 and was an avid sports fan. He entered the United States Air Force on May 5, 1980 and remained until February of 1992. His employment included Bryan 800 Communications as a Customer Service Representative, a communications dispatcher for Texas Department of Public Safety and was presently employed with Texas A&M University as a Systems Technician and radio operator.
James leaves to mourn his mother, Margaret and father, Thomas Bursey; his two sisters, Nadajalah and her husband, Charlie Dean; Phlecia and husband, Victor Geary; his nieces and nephew, Treceon and Gabriella Geary and Megan Dean; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
James, his father and his sister, Phlecia have a combine total of 55 years of Air Force service.
