Janna Reed

Janna Christie Reed, 67, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025. Born on November 27, 1957, to J.C. and Brenda (Kerrison) Reed. Janna was a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls, Texas and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

A graduate of Rider High School, Class of 1976, Janna pursued a career in cosmetology and worked as a beautician at The Hair Port for over 40 years. She was known for her warm smile, kind spirit, and ability to make anyone feel beautiful—inside and out. Her loyal clients and coworkers became like family, and her presence in the salon will be deeply missed.

Janna’s life was one of love, grace, and unwavering dedication to those she cared about. Whether spending time with her grandchildren, visiting with family, or working with clients, she gave her full heart to every moment. Her legacy lives on in the love she shared and the lives she touched.

She is proceeded in death by her parents J.C. and Brenda Reed and Brother Jorl Reed.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James Terry; her loving children, Hanna Boyce and husband Kyle Deese of Lubbock, TX and Rory Boyce and wife Ashley of Wichita Falls TX. Her cherished grandchildren, Oliver Boyce, Carson Boyce, and Brooklyn Deese, who brought boundless joy to her life. Janna also leaves behind her sisters, Joanne Fuller and husband Tommy, Judy Brown and husband Tommy, and Nancy Reed along with many beloved nieces who were close to her heart.

A graveside service for Janna will be held Monday May 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Crestview Memorial Park 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls Texas, with a reception to follow at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Flowers may be sent to Hampton Vaughan Funeral home and in lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Humane Society of Wichita Falls in Janna’s memory.

She will be missed beyond words and remembered with love always.
