

Jimmy spent many years as a movie theatre projectionist, and he later used those skills and his love of entertainment to volunteer for a time at Backdoor Theatre.
Over the years, he also owned and operated small businesses, including The Matchmaker Dating Service and Woodstock’s Chimney Sweep. He later worked as a technician for Time Warner Cable before retiring as a shuttle driver for The Ford House.
Outside of work, Jimmy enjoyed playing pool and disc golf, and he valued time spent in his own way with those around him.
Jimmy is survived by his children, Jimmy Morgan Jr., Kelly Morgan (Jennifer Morgan), Kimberly Gordon, and (Jamie Morgan); his sisters, Betty Koskol (Ken Koskol) and D Ann Ledwak; his grandchildren, Gabriele Goodrich (Donald Goodrich), Genevieve Nelson (Joshua Nelson), Camlann Varelman, Kelsey Morgan, Kiersten Morgan, Kelly Ann Morgan, Brody Morgan, Aiden Morgan, Cian Morgan, and Piper Morgan; and his great-grandchildren, Jensen and Evelyn Nelson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who adored him.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Morgan; his son-in-law, Jeffrey Gordon; his former spouse, Jeanne MeHarg; his brother, Ronnie Morgan; and his parents, Wilmer Clyde and Ruby Morgan.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at City Hope Church in Wichita Falls, Texas, on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
