June’s Alzheimer’s tried to rob her, but she didn’t allow it to take her sweetness. Some confusion and loneliness in these last years, but now full grace and dignity once again. Her beauty and precious personality never ceased. She remained a positive, friendly and loving lady who could light up the darkest room. Everyone loved getting to be with her. June loved being with her friends laughing and talking over one another. She didn’t have a mean bone in her body and always took pride in looking her best.
Born in Memphis, TX, July 23, 1935 to Foster and Sybil Hartsell Rasco. She married Zack White in 1957 who died in 2003. They had two children, a son Mike married to Vicki and a daughter Cindy McCarthy married to Tim. June has 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. A special love for her first grandchild, Wesley White and her pride and joy, Zack Catherall and Kyle who have both been true and loyal grandsons bringing her enjoyment until the end. Zack and wife Kenzie gifted great grandsons, Bryson and Crew, who brought joy late in her life when she needed it most. June loved babies and the last baby she got to hold was Kyle’s sweet Stella Grace.
The world would be a better place if it had more June’s! She will be greatly missed.
June leaves behind special cousins; Linda and Blair, special friends Donna, Melinda, Anna, Judy, and Kari who June loved as a daughter.
