Larry grew up in Wichita Falls where he attended Wichita High School, class of 1966. Larry worked many years in construction, building swimming pools until he started his own company.
Larry met his soulmate, Kim (Blansett) Maness and married May 19, 1990 where they celebrated 35 wonderful years together. They brought 3 children to the marriage, Kenneth Gene Maness, Brenda Fitzpatrick and husband Kevin, Douglas A. Pearce. One sister Brenda Webb, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Larry enjoyed hunting, camping and spending time with his family and friends. His real joy was doing chili cook-off's and raising money for good causes. Larry loved to tell jokes and long stories, and pulling a prank or two. He loved to laugh and was always there for a friend.
He will forever be in our hearts.
A memorial service for Larry will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302.
