Leroy Sillemon

Leroy Sillemon went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 17, 2025, in Wichita Falls, TX at the age of 66. Born on August 27, 1958, in Wichita Falls, TX, Leroy was the son of Ellen H. Willis and Wallace Sillemon. He accepted Christ at a young age and attended New Jerusalem Baptist Church. On June 10, 2006 Leroy married the love of his life, Katrina Allen. He had a deep love for God and enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, and attending all sporting events - especially cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. More than anything, he cherished spending time with his family and friends, and his grandchildren were the light of his life.

Leroy attended school in Dallas, TX, and graduated from Oak Cliff High School. He went on sto serve his country as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army. After his military service, he worked and later retired from Ameron in Burkburnett, TX. He was also a founding member of the Quarterhorse Track Club.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Ellen Willis and Wallace Sillemon; grandparents, Nathaniel Willis and Ida Love; brothers, James Edward Sillemon, Wallace Sillemon, Jr.; sisters, Linda Fae Sillemon and Lorine Miller.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Katrina Sillemon; two sons, Leroy Sillemon, Wichita Falls, TX and Courtland Henigan of Lewisville, TX; four daughters, Linda and Gloria of Houston, TX, Kinterra Allen of Garland, TX, and Ashili (Andrew) Ramsey of Wichita Falls, TX, 13 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Leroy's legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A funeral service for Leroy will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home Chapel, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas. A burial will occur at Lakeview Cemetery, 4300 Southwest Parkway, Wichita Falls, TX 76308.
