Mary Garcia

She was born on November 23, 1942, to the late Ysa and Cuca Martinez in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She married the late Jimmie Garcia, Sr. on September 23, 1961. They had two children, Jimmie Jr. and Abraham. Jimmie Sr. preceded her in death in 1981.

Mary lived a life rooted in kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She retired from Howmet Aerospace after 20+ years. Mary found joy in the simple pleasures of life—crossword puzzles, reading, tending to her flower garden, baking, and cooking.

She is survived by sister Gloria Lopez, children Jimmie Jr. and spouse Teresa Garcia, Abraham and spouse Kandy Garcia, grandchildren Irma Gutierrez and spouse Jim Ingalls, Jimmie III and spouse Rituko Garcia, Louis Garcia, Alyssa Kastenholz and spouse Nicholas, Alexis Warwick and spouse Jace. Great-grandchildren Matthew Gutierrez, Adam Gutierrez, Gabriel Ingalls, Zachary Garcia, Kenji Garcia, and Kiyomi Garcia.

A visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home.
