Mary E Garner

Mary Garner, 80, of Wichita Falls went to be with Jesus on Wednesday August 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held at Lamar Baptist Church in Wichita Falls at 3 pm Saturday, August 15, 2015 with Tommy Free officiating. Interment to follow in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Friday evening at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Mary was a loving & devoted wife, mom, grandma, great grandma and friend who blessed so many lives. She & her husband David loved their church of Lamar Baptist Church & both served the Lord by serving others. Her humor & laughter were contagious & will be deeply missed. Mary was born on September 24, 1934 to Joseph Earl Hill & Ruby (Tyson) Hill. She married Samuel David Garner on September 9, 1952 in Clovis, NM. Mary worked hard & her priority was her family & friends. She enjoyed cooking, playing games & spending time with family & friends.

She will be deeply missed by her three children, David Garner of Bay City, Tx, Judy Lowe and husband Steve of Frisco, Tx & Kathy Neal and husband Larry of Wichita Falls; grandson Jeff Garner and his fiancé Wendy Kreminski,; granddaughter Rachel Neal & two great grandchildren , Madelyn & Tyler; brothers Bill Hill & wife Shirley; Sonny Hill & a sister Jo Ann McCandless & husband Lawrence. Also preceding her in death were her husband David & sister Linda Womack. Memorials may be made to Integra Care of Wichita Falls.
