Mary Eva Johnson, a resident of Wichita Falls, peacefully passed away on June 12, 2022. She moved to Wichita Falls a year ago to live with her daughter Barbara and son-in-law, John. She spent the previous year in Frenchville, Maine with her daughter, Carol and son-in-law, Dave.
Mary’s life was devoted to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, her husband of more than 50 years, James R. Johnson who predeceased her in May 2020, and her daughters Linda, Barbara, MaryEllen and Carol and their families.
Mary attended City Hope Church where she greatly enjoyed the pastors and her fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who immediately embraced her as one of their own. She especially enjoyed serving in her church on The Dream Team. Mary lived her life joyfully serving the Lord and faithfully leading her daughters to faith in Christ.
Mary is survived by her daughters and their husbands, step-son Rick, step-daughter Terry, her sister Lou Renee, several nieces and nephews, many grandchildren and great grandchildren who all loved her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be sent to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
