Patricia A Hodges

Patricia A. Hodges, 76, of Wichita Falls, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday June 16, 2015 at the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home with Steven Minter officiating. Entombment will follow in the Corridor of Hope of Crestview Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 Monday evening at the funeral home.

Patricia was born September 16, 1938 in Oxnard, CA to Mack and Gladys (Howard) Prindle. After completing her education, Patricia was a reporter for the Ventura Star (CA) newspaper where she experienced a highlight of her life by becoming an Honorary Blue Angel after actually flying with them. She married her husband Ken Hodges, on September 21, 1963. Later, she was an apartment manager, tax consultant, business entrepreneur, a published author and most importantly, a loving mother who was actively involved in the lives of her children. Patricia was Episcopal by faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Howard Prindle and by a son-in-law, John McCaughan.

Survivors are her husband, Ken Hodges, Sr.; children, David Hodges and wife Chris of Wichita Falls, Robyn McCaughan of Texarkana, TX, Mary Lynn Cash and husband Jeff of McKinney, TX, Karen Lucas and husband Gary of Texarkana, TX, Paula Hodges of Victorville, CA, Brian Hodges and wife Jenny of Keller, TX, Ken Hodges, Jr. and wife Karen of Allen, TX, Kathy Hodges of Wichita Falls and Will Hodges and wife Emily of Hermosa Beach, CA; eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
