Ralph Julian Duncan

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 10, 2013 in the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum at Crestview Memorial Park.

Ralph was born on August 4, 1931 in Hendersonville, NC to Hezekiah and Lois (Lands) Duncan. Originally from Spartanburg, SC, Ralph was a world traveler, courtesy of Uncle Sam. He retired from the United States Air Force but he also served in the United States Navy as well as the United States Army. He was stationed all over the United States as well as Guam, Saipan, Libya, Italy and The Congo. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and retired with the rank of Master Sergeant. Ralph enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and reading Louis Lamore Stories. He was a member of The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents Hezekiah and Lois Duncan and his wife Lucy Brabham Duncan.

Survivors include his two sons, Anthony Walker and wife Janet of Atlanta, Georgia and Andrew Walker and wife Donna of Plano, Texas, grandkids, Chris Wells, Samantha Orer and Isabella Haydocy, cousin Mary Broom of Spartanburg, SC and numerous other cousins.
