Ramona Maldonado

She was a social and loving person who shared her faith with all that would listen.

She was born in Robstown, TX, to Frances Rangel Gamez and Thomas Gamez November 5 1939.

She married Clemente V. Maldonado on May 5, 1956 where they began their life together in Robstown, Texas. In 1961 they settled in Hobart, Oklahoma, then moving to Michigan, and finally settling in Wichita falls, TX, where they live for the past 17 years.

Ramona was a wonderful wife, mother and loved her grandkids and great grandkids.

She enjoyed cooking and making Tamales and feeding everyone who visited.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clemente V. Maldonado.

She is survived by 1 Brother, Gilbert Gamez and 1 sister, Enedina Dawson, her children; Clemente and Esther Maldonado (Aurora, IL), Esperanza and George Garza (Visala, CA), Armando and Ana Maldonado (Ft Lauderdale, FL), Madalena Pantoja (Kalamazoo, MI), Esther and Jeffrey Berndt (Wichita Falls, TX) and Jose Angel Maldonado (Wichita Falls, TX), she also is survived by 14 Grandkids, 20 Great grandkids and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 5-7 pm at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home in the Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 11 AM in the Hampton Vaughan Chapel, graveside service to follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
