

Ronald J. Hall, 79, of Wichita Falls died Thursday, July 28, 2011 in Wichita Falls. Services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Fairway Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Brett Storseth. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2011 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
Ronald was born January 22, 1932 in Steptoe, NV to Joseph Grant and Zona (Johnson) Hall. He grew up in McGill, NV where he attended White Pine County High School before moving to Tropic, UT where he graduated in 1950. He enlisted in the United States Air Force at Hill AFB in March 1952 and served with the 67th Tactical Recognizance Wing at Kimpo AFB in Korea before coming to Sheppard AFB until his separation in 1956. He married Wanda Marie Mason October 16, 1955 in Wichita Falls and together they raised three children. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with an Accounting degree from Midwestern State University in 1961. He worked for Tom B. Medders Oil Company, Mercantile Credit Corporation, and KFDX TV as Business Manager for over 18 years prior to his retirement in 1987. He was devoted to his children and grandchildren and actively participated in all of their endeavors. Ronald was a member of Fairway Baptist Church for 50 years, having served as an ordained deacon and in many other areas of ministry. He was a blood donor for the Red Cross, giving over 14 gallons of blood over many years. He enjoyed woodworking and sold many projects over the years. He also served as a WFISD mentor working with students at Austin Elementary for several years.
Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Zona Hall.
Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Wanda Hall; three children and their spouses, Vicki and Jerry Reynolds of Ft. Worth, TX, Ricki and Joanna Hall of Coppell, TX, Ronda Hall of Wichita Falls; sisters and brother-in-law, Marie Knighton of McGill, NV, Thelma and Red Tye of Ely, NV, Zella Collard of McGill, NV; brother and sister-in-law, Darrell and Rosalee Hall of Arvada, CO; five grandchildren, Christa Hall Hartl and husband Cassius, Jordan Hall, Madison Hall, Adam Reynolds, Rachael Reynolds Francis and husband Deandre; and one great-grandson, Donovan.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Reddy and his nurse Michelle, Dr. Dryden, and all of the doctors and staff at Hospice of Wichita Falls for their care and compassion.
