Mrs. Ruth A Zamora

Here we honor the life of Ruth Ann Zamora, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Ruth passed away surrounded by family on June 14, 2025, at the age of 62 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was born on March 3, 1963, to her parents John Keiren and Ollie Nelson who preceded her in death. Ruth married the love of her life, Jimmy Zamora, in 2006. Ruth had 3 wonderful children Christopher Alvarez, Laura Day, and Josh Zamora. She was a doting grandmother to six grandchildren and her handsome great-grandchild Easton Rodriguez. Ruth worked at Sheppard AFB as a 1st cook for 21 years and was known for her dedication an light-heartedness. In her free time, she enjoyed the creative art of Diamond Painting, bringing color and beauty into the world. Despite her battle with cancer for the last 10 years, Ruth maintained her positive spirit and sense of humor, always bringing laughter and light wherever she went. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Zamora of 19 years, her sisters Donna and Mellisa Keiren, her 3 children, her 6 grandchildren, and her precious great-grandchild. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation for Ruth will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home.
