

Sheri Lynn (Cain) Speegle passed away at age 55. She was born 29 July 1966 in Big Spring, Texas to Jerry and Linda Cain. Sheri lived with her husband of 35 years, Dubby Speegle and went to be with our Lord and Savior on 24 August 2021. Sheri and Dubby served the Lord in many churches during Dubby’s Navy carrier and retirement, but most recently served at Faith Baptist Church of Wichita Falls. Sheri and Dubby married 17 March 1986 and raised 8 children. She was always a strong advocate for children and knew from an early age that she wanted to adopt even if she had biological children. After the first two boys were in junior high they began a ten year journey that would result in the adoption of 6 children. The youngest would enter their home at one month of age and the oldest was thirteen.
Sheri always wanted to be an educator. While Dubby served in the Navy she worked in the child development center in Sigonella Sicily and San Diego California. She also worked as a substitute for Wichita Falls Independent School District and Consolidated Independent School District at Petrolia. Her college was cut short after she and Dubby were married. Years later she completed her BAAS at Midwestern State University in May of 2018.
Sheri was proceeded in death by her father, Jerry Cain, stepfather, Wayne Salmon and her daughter, Sarah Speegle.
Sheri is survived by husband, WD {Dubby} Speegle of Wichita Falls, mother, Linda Salmon of Wichita Falls, brother, Nicky and wife, Charity Cain of Elk City, Oklahoma, children, Zachary and Sarah Speegle of Brownwood, Tx, Andrew and Kimberly Speegle of Wichita Falls, Tx, Nicole Essence Speegle of Denton Tx, David Speegle of Abilene,Tx, Elizabeth Speegle of Wichita Falls, Tx, Hannah Speegle of Wichita Falls, Tx and Jeremiah of Wichita Falls, Tx grandchildren, Mikaela Speegle, Eiijah Speegle, Josiah Speegle, Samual Speegle, Talitha Speegle and Danielle Speegle of Brownwood, Tx and Paisley Speegle of Wichita Falls, Tx niece, Kayelee Cain of Garland Tx, Faith McAve of Elk City Oklahoma and nephew, Kyler Cain of Rockwell, Tx.
Sheri was a devoted and loving wife mother and daughter who will be missed and cherished by many friends and extended family.
