Tony L. Sadler of Wichita Falls, TX died Friday January 9, 2015 following a long illness at the age of 75. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 1pm Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma.
Tony retired after serving over twenty-two years in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant First Class. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving two combat tours. Tony was the recipient of many honors and awards including: an Air Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, five Good Conduct Medals, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation, and three Meritorious Unit Commendations.
Tony is survived by his mother; Dorothy Sadler of Wichita Falls, TX, son; Tony D. Sadler and wife; Lori, of Wichita Falls, TX, daughters Sandy Pruitt and husband; Jim of Rome, GA, Vicky Noeltner, and husband; Charles of Rogers, AR, a brother; Bud Sadler of Wichita Falls, TX, Sisters; Margaret Warren and husband; Ron of Morgan Point, TX, Silvia Kimes and husband; Kenneth of Temple, TX, 14 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Tony was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Sadler, a daughter; Kelly Briley, Father; Joe Sadler, Brothers; Lester and Bobby Sadler.
