Vivian Wade Jordan

Jewel Vivian Wade Jordan, 82, went to be with Jesus on June 27, 2015. A Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, from 6pm to 8pm at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 3pm Wednesday, July 1, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

Vivian was born September 17, 1932 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to Lawrence and Hannah (Hartfield) Overstreet. Vivian moved to Wichita Falls in the early 1950s. She was a member of the First Assembly of God. Vivian also acted as a Prayer Intercessor for His Majesty Ministries of Burleson, Texas. She was proud of her long career in the Beauty Industry. Vivian was a beautician for over 50 years, owned two beauty shops, and retired at the age of 78.

Vivian is preceded in death by: Grandson; Brandon Justin Owens, brothers; Marvin and Billy Overstreet, sisters; Sybil Mann and Erma Hanlin, husbands; Virgil Owens Sr., Henry Wade, and Earl Jordan.

She is survived by: son; Virgil “Bucky” Owens Jr., daughter; Kathy Redder (Sam), grandchildren; Dustin Owens (Beth), Aaron Redder, and Andrea Bedau (Randy), great-grandchildren; Fallon, Ashton, Brooklyn, Brianna, Dusty Jr., Nathan, Ryan, and Joel.
