

Wanda Louise “Nannie” Arbuckle Ganzer, 85, of Wichita Falls died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at a local hospice. Services have been scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10th and Broad Church of Christ Church officiated by Larry Suttle. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
Wanda was born August 5, 1926 in Wichita Falls to Corbin S. and Velma D. (Darby) Blundell. She attended school in Wichita Falls. She was the owner and operator of Wanda’s Beauty Shop from which she retired. Wanda was a very active member of 10th & Broad Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School and cooked for the bereavement committee. She also cooked for Meals on Wheels as cooking was her passion. In her earlier years, she loved to bowl and fish and was a member of the YWCA where she went to swim.
Mrs. Ganzer is preceded in death by husbands, Jack Arbuckle in 1956, and William H. Ganzer, husband of 45 years, in 2009; son, Richard “Dickie” Arbuckle in 2012; two sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Herby Carr of Wichita Falls, Jackie and Steve Zaltsberg of Corpus Christi; grandchildren and spouses, Jeff Carr, Stacy and Allen Glenn, Jayme and Laura Carr, Tammy and Bill Gilbert, Brian and Stephanie Zaltsberg, Heather and Rusty Atkinson, Lacy and Luis Aguilar; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
